Lola’s Cottage is one of the places you like in the vicinity. The sushi is always fresh, and their sushi rolls taste like something rather than just being covered in sauce. The people working here are also very nice. For me, it’s an easy place to visit on a weekday evening. I highly recommend it!

Honestly, this place surprised me. I live a few minutes away and finally decided to try it — glad I did. The sashimi was solid, and the tempura came out hot and crispy. Prices are fair for Hayward, and the vibe is low-key and comfortable. Good spot to grab dinner without dealing with crowds.

My family and I have been coming here for a while, and it’s always a good experience. The service is friendly, and the food comes out pretty quick. Their signature rolls are my favorite — fresh and not overly heavy. It’s just a reliable neighborhood sushi place we keep going back to.
